One of the tools that I used, to teach kids parts of a face is through the “Tiku Game”. This is something I had seen on one of the websites and it was an instant hit with my kids. They liked Tiku so much that till date he is the class mascot.
Well to begin with I put the whole picture and named the character Tiku.
Thereafter I showed the kids each part one by one. They repeated this after me. Then I removed all the parts and just placed an empty circle
Then I called upon one kid and blindfolded him. Gave him a part of the face and asked the other kids to prompt him where to place the ear. The medium of instruction was only restricted to left, right, up, down. This way not only did the children identify the parts but also where they were placed. My kids had loads of fun and this is how their Tiku ended up looking:
